PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Institute of Micro-Nano Optoelectronics of Shenzhen University has four main research directions:Laser optics and applications, Micro-scale light field manipulation, Micro-structure optoelectronicsTwo-dimensional material optoelectronics.

Shenzhen University was authorized to award doctoral degrees in optical engineering in 2006 and establlished the first post-doctoral station of optical engineering in Southern China in 2007.The discipline of optical engineering was selected as a key discipline of Guangdong Province in 2012. The discipline of optical engineering was selected as a key construction discipline of high-level universities in Guangdong Province in 2015.According to  the fourth round of national discipline evaluation results, Shenzhen University's optical engineering discipline won B+, ranking 9th with Tsinghua University.Shenzhen University Optical Engineering ranked 5th in Shanghai Kesoft's 2018 "China's Best Siscipline Rankings" and ranked 2th in Shanghai Kesoft's 2018 "China's Best Siscipline Rankings".In The Times Higher Education Chinese Discipline Evaluation, Shenzhen University Optical Engineering is rated as a category A discipline.

李昇隆博導(dǎo)主要研究方向?yàn)轱@微技術(shù)與納米科學(xué),主要利用掃描隧道顯微鏡觀(guān)察納米尺度下的物質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)與光、電等刺激響應(yīng)下的物質(zhì)組裝結(jié)構(gòu)變化,以及化學(xué)反應(yīng)等。同時(shí)利用微觀(guān)方法探究表面超分子化學(xué)組裝結(jié)構(gòu)、表面修飾、電分析化學(xué)與能源材料化學(xué)等相關(guān)課題。導(dǎo)師曾主持國(guó)自然面上項(xiàng)目,科研成果J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Advance Energy Materials Advance functional Materials刊登發(fā)表。

Prof Lee’s research mainly focuses on microscopic skills and nanotechnology. His research interest involves the utilization of scanning tunneling microscope (STM or AFM) to explore materials science at the nanoscale level, the materials assemblies and their phase transitions triggered by light, electric as well as other stimuli. He is also interested in exploring surface modifications, electrochemistry, and energy materials devices (like PSCs and energy storage techniques). He holds NSFC funding and his research works have been published in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Advance Energy Materials, and Advance functional Materials.

于2005年在美國(guó)波士頓大學(xué)獲物理學(xué)博士學(xué)位,2005-2008年在哈佛大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院和華盛頓圣路易斯大學(xué)從事生物醫(yī)學(xué)顯微成像方面的博士后研究。2008-2014年就職于南開(kāi)大學(xué)任教授,2014年至今就職于深圳大學(xué)任教授。目前感興趣的合作研究主要方向有:1)結(jié)構(gòu)光對(duì)膠體顆粒的群體運(yùn)動(dòng)控制,2)液態(tài)金屬微結(jié)構(gòu)與光的相互作用及其應(yīng)用,3)磁性二維材料的偏振光學(xué)表征。

Earned PhD in physics from Boston University in 2005, and then performed Postdoc research in biomedical optical microscopy at Harvard Medical School and Washington University in St. Louis from 2005 to 2008. Held a professorship in Nankai University from 2008 to 2014, and then holding a professorship in Shenzhen University started from 2014. Currently being interested in three major research directions collaborated with other teachers: 1) Manipulating colloidal particle group motion with structured light, 2) Interaction of liquid metal microstructures with light and its application; 3)Polarized optical characterization of 2d magnetic materials.

本人一直從事超分辨率顯微鏡、微納光學(xué)傳感器的研究,已經(jīng)有50多篇論文發(fā)表在光學(xué)期刊上,包括Laser & Photonics reviews, ACS photonics, Nanoscale, Optics Letters, Applied  physics letters等。本人在光學(xué)微結(jié)構(gòu)加工,特別是光學(xué)鍍膜工藝、光電集成技術(shù)方面有多年積累,希望在基于微納米光學(xué)技術(shù)在磁場(chǎng)傳感、超聲傳感方向繼續(xù)深入研究,招收多名博士生。

I have been engaged in research on super-resolution microscopes and micro/nano optical sensors, more than 50 papers have been published in optical journals, including Laser&Photonics reviews, ACS photonics, Nanoscale, Optics Letters, Applied physics letters, etc. I have many years of experience in optical microstructure processing, especially in optical coating processes and optoelectronic integration technologies. I hope to continue to conduct in-depth research in magnetic field sensing and ultrasonic sensing based on micro-nano optical technologies, and recruit multiple doctoral students.

Dr. Jun Liu received his PhD degree in Optical Engineering at Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics,Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2014. After graduation, he joined Shenzhen University as a post-doctoral researcher, and was awarded the individual fellowship of the MARIE Sk?odowska-CURIE ACTIONS granted by the European Union in 2016. He started to work as a Marie-Curie research fellow at Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Aston University, in the United Kingdom, in 2017. When the Marie-Curie project was completed, Dr. Liu relocated in Shenzhen University as an associate professor in 2019. Since starting his doctoral studies and later research work, Dr. Liu’s research interests and activities have consistently focused on the new laser technologies, which include: Development of eye-safe, mid-infrared, high power fibre lasers and solid-state lasers; nonlinear soliton dynamics and ultrafast photonics. Dr. Liu is now a tenured associate professor and a PhD supervisor in Shenzhen University, and has received a few international, national and provincial research funding grants including European Horizon 2020 (Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Actions, MSCA), National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and has published more than 60 papers in high-standard journals and conferences (CLEO, SPIE, ACP etc.), which demonstrates his high-profile research level. Dr. Liu’s main research results and major contributions in recent years are concentrated on the following three aspects: mid-infrared fiber lasers, wavelength flexible Raman fiber lasers, and soliton dynamics in graded-index multimode fibers.

Chenliang Su (Institute of Microscale Optoelectronics, Shenzhen University) received his BS degree (2005) and PhD degree (2010) in the Department of Chemistry from Zhejiang University of China (2010). After that he worked as a research fellow at the Advanced 2D Materials and Graphene Research Centre in the National University of Singapore (2010–2015). He is now a full professor at the International Collaborative Laboratory of 2D Materials for Optoelectronics Science and Technology (ICL‐2D MOST), Shenzhen University and a Principal Investigator of ICL‐2D MOST in materials science. His current interests focus on Artificial photosynthesis of value-added chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Prof. Su has published more than 230 peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Nat. Chem., Nat. Catal., Nat. Nanotechnol., Nat. Energy, Nat. Commun., Chem. Soc. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Sci. etc., which contributes more than 15800 citations (H-index, 70).
